This week's color throw down challenge has two purples and two greens. I used the SU colors certainly celery and garden green, along with wisteria wonder and perfect plum. I immediately thought of hydrangeas, but forced myself to go a bit further out of the box. My water coloring doesn't show up that well in the photo, but it is there. I used the leaf embossing folder, and couldn't help cutting out a piece to hang over the nest. Thanks for looking. Why don't you give these colors a try?.

This card was made for the 225th color throw down challenge. The colors this week are melon mambo, pretty in pink, crumb cake, pumpkin pie, and white. I used my very first digi with this. It was a free digi on Birdie Brown's blog. I found this digi on (lzappa) gallery with a cute card she showed. I used two SU embossing folders, a piece of pumpkin pie dp, my corner punch, and the sentiment is from a retired SU set. Thanks for checking out my card. Have fun creating!! :>)

I made this card for the Queen For the Day 147. The queen is Mother's Daughter otherwise known as Jennifer. She makes very unique cards. She has been known to do some stitchery and other things. I cased one of her cards and used a new Unity set I recently purchased. I guess I could use this card for a male. How about that??! It doesn't often happen for me.
I made this card last Tuesday. I started out wanting to do a CAS card for the color challenge. I used a new set I recently bought. The colors were something ripple, soft suede, and vanilla. The red was the more recent new color for SU. My mom had a complete knee replacement. That was not as much of a problem as her thin skin that was tearing off just from a sheet being touched on her. It's been a bit busy of a week, and I haven't gotten to stamp as much as I would have liked, but that's life, right?!! Thanks for looking.
