CC742 - For Dad

This card was made for the CC742.  Stef was our hostess and she picked the color Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, and Twist of Lemon Lime.  I used an old image from PSX and watercolored it.  I used crumb cake to dry emboss some leaves under my main image.

CC669, Thinking of you roses...

This card is for the second week in January - Color Challenge 669.
The colors are pool party, old olive, daffodil delight, and berry burst.
The dessert is something sparkly.

My card is kind of a throw back from time ago - I used a few old SU images - the layered roses and the ferns.  The sentiment is from long ago.  I fussy cut my roses.  The piece of designer paper has a combination of the colors - pool party, olive, and daffodil.  I used a bit of sparkly by adding my brad.

CC668, Flower Bunch for You...

Here we are in the beginning of 2018 - a new year.  I was asked to join the color design team for the month of January.  I was delighted!

The colors for the first challenge of the year are mint macaroon, sugarplum, and chocolate chip.  For dessert, we were to use something new.

I heat embossed my chocolate chip and then watercolored my new image with the various colors.  I fussy cut my image out and then popped it up on dimensionals.  I added a simple sentiment and one vanilla colored brad.  Fun as always!!  :>)

Nature - CTD460

It's been forever since I've posted on my blog.  This card was done for the 460th Color Throw Down. The colors are blue, green, and white.  I colored my image with a blue and green marker and then misted it with water.  Very easy.  I used 2 SU images with it, done is black.  Clean and easy is the way I like most of my cards these days.  Thanks for looking, and have a great day!! :>)

CTD451, Life is Fragile

I used a piece of water color paper and used melon mambo, pretty and pink, and bright green to water color. and spray ink.  I used two SU sets.  I rounded my corners and then paper pierced the two ends.  Pretty fun and simple.

Lilies - Color Throw Down 448

This card was made for the color throw down challenge - #448.  I used the colors to watercolor my lilies image.  I added some rhinestones for a bit of dimension on my card.  Thanks for looking.

CC622, SUO, Just For You

I am so in love with color challenges in case you can't tell by looking at my blog or my SCS gallery.  I thought these colors were a bit difficult but was surprised that I liked my card as well as I did.  The colors this week are watermelon wonder, mint macaroon, and night of navy.  Our dessert was to use designer paper.  I used the set Kind of Eclectic from SU as well as the Butterfly Basics set from SU.  I used a piece of SU dp as well.  The sentiment comes from Tiny Wishes SU.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

CTD430 - Thinking of you leaves...

Another fun color throw down challenge.  I found a piece of dp that had some of the colors in it and decided to add some leaves.  I took the leaf image from the Kind of Eclectic set from SU.  I stamped the leaves in my colors - either pool party, pear pizzazz or early espresso.  I then carefully added gold acrylic paint or turquoise acrylic paint.  My sentiment comes from SU Tiny Wishes.  Thanks for looking.  Give these colors a try - it's fun!!

Lavender and Lace - Double "D' Challenge, Dar and Diane blog spot

This is for the challenge over at Double "D" or Dar and Diane's blog

The theme was to use lavender and lace.  The stamp that is popped up is from Penny Black.  I used 2 lace stamps but don't recall the companies they are from.  I used a doily and a sentiment that I also don't know where it came from.  All of these stamps are rubber stamps that I don't keep organized with their companies.  Sorry.  I'm not an organized person.  Thanks for looking though.  :>)

This card is for the 429th color throw down challenge.  We were to use orange, teal, and black.  I love these bright dynamic colors together.  I used a Tim Holtz stencil and sponged sections with the colors.  I then used a thanks stamp.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

MOJO483 - Imperfections are Beautiful...

This card was created for the MOJO MONDAY 483 CHALLENGE.  I used designer papers and just followed the sketch.  I sponged my island indigo on my circles.  The rest is self explanatory.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

Mojo Monday 482 - Valentine

This is for this week's mojo sketch.  I used dp and a doily.  I rounded some of my corners and used a amour stamp that I had laying around.  Thanks for taking a look.

CTD427 - Pastel Hydrangeas

This card is for this weeks color throw down challenge.  I chose Unity's hydrangea image and colored it with the pastel colors - aqua, mint green, and pink.  I used prisma colored pencils.

CTD426 - Live Today...

The colors for this week are red, gray, and kraft.  I used a Unity stamp and stamped it on a piece of dp.  I used the corner punches to accent my card and a piece of twine.  Simple.  Thanks for looking!!

CTD425 - Get Well Soon

Another fun color throw down challenge.  Stamped some zinnias from stampabilites.  Colored them in with  Bermuda bay and more mustard.  Added a button and a sentiment with the word punch.

CTD424 - Wishes

This is for this week's color throw down challenge.  The colors are a bright pink, black, and green.  I used the Butterfly Wishes set from SU.

Mojo Monday 478 - Bloom...

This is the first card I have made for 2017.  I really enjoyed crafting today.  This is for the mojo monday challenge.  My base is vanilla.  I embossed the strip on the left hand side.  The middle section is a piece of Daily Bread dp.  The horizontal strip is a piece of melon mambo with a piece of lace on it and the sentiment bloom.  The circle is a rose that I watercolored.  I added a vanilla button for an embellishment.  Thanks for looking!!  Wishing you a great 2017.

CTD420 - Yellow Lillies...

I was so happy to be picked as the guest designer for the Color Throw Down this week.  The colors are gray, light blue, sage green, and yellow.  I watercolored my lily image on watercolor paper.  I used a piece of dp and mounted it on light blue and gray.  Pretty simple.  Thanks for looking!!
