CTD418, Friend to friend...

I'm so glad we haven't said goodbye to fall yet.  We are having some beautiful weather here.  My leaves are a combination of the colors for the week.  I used ink a gold in copper on one of them.  The other had both teal and orange swiped on them.  The other color appears green.  I have my dry embossing in there with a simple sentiment.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!! :>)

Color Throw Down #417 - Free Flying...

What a quick and easy card to make with this very cool image from Stampendous.  I simply inked the image with the three colors from this week's CTD challenge.

cQc365, Halloween Pumpkins...

I enjoyed playing in this challenge.  I masked my pumpkins and then watercolored the ones in front with tangerine and curry.  My pumpkins in back were shaded with black pencil.  Lucky me, I found some concord grape dp and card stock in my stash.  It came in handy just in time.  Thanks for looking and have a fun and safe Halloween.  :>)

Color Throw Down #416 - Open Heart

I created my bg with the SU stamp, sanded in kraft.  I then used French Script in blushing bride - which was close to peach.  My foliage was done in island indigo - the set was SU Open Heart.  I added a bit of cherry cobbler on my bird's head and with the sentiment.  Overall the colors weren't as difficult as I thought they might be to use.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

Color Throw Down 414 - Vintage Acorns...

I made this card for the 414th color throw down challenge.  I absolutely love fall, and it was fun doing these fall images in unrealistic colors.  Our colors for this week are gray, aqua, and lime green.  I used SU's Bermuda Bay, Kiwi Kiss, and Slate.  I used the SU set Acorny Thank You along with the matching punch, and Vintage Leaves die cuts.  I also dry embossed the bg with a leaf folder.  Very fun!!  Thanks for looking!!

CTD413 - Always Grateful

This card is for the color throw down.  The colors were navy, crumb cake, orange, and white.  I used an embossing folder for the crumb cake bg.

Mojo Monday 465, Blessings...

I created this clean fall card for the mojo monday challenge for the week.  My base card stock was some SU caribbean.  I used some plaid dp from Lawn Fawn.  My other panels were done with poppy and summer sun.  I used SU die cuts to create the oak leaf and acorn with chocolate chip card stock.  I think it's a fun little card.  Thanks for looking!!
