CTD284, Brilliant Bermuda Pansies...

The color throw down for this week is using plum, brilliant blue, and bermuda bay.  I used my new gelatos for the first time and mixed my blue and red to get a type of plum bg.  I watercolor my image on watercolor paper and then fussy cut it out.  I then popped it up on to my gelato bg.  I embossed the bermuda bay, and added some ribbon and brads for embellishment.  It was fun!!

I made this card for 2 challenges.  First was the CQC challenge.  We were to use white, black, craft, lime aid and newsprint.  The challenge on SCS was to use staples today.  It was fun.  Thanks for looking!!  Have a fun and safe St. Pat's Day!!  :>)

CTD282, Grunge Birthday

This card was made for this week's color throw down challenge.  The colors are red, daffodil, and lime aid.  I first stamped my diagonal pattern with the green and red.  I then separately stamped my rose in daffodil and fussy cut it out.  I glued it down, and then had some fun with the Gorgeous Grunge set.  I added a sentiment from Sincere Salutations and punched it out.  I then added some ribbon and did some paper piercing.  A fun quick card.  Thanks for looking and have a great week.  :>)

CTD280, Blue Poppies

The color challenge for this week was to use vanilla, soft sky, night of navy, and old olive.  What a beautiful combination!!  I had this pretty piece of dp sitting on my desk so I thought I would stamp some poppies on it.  I then stamped an olive one on some vanilla card stock.  I added some ribbon and brads and that was about it. Thanks for looking!!

I made this card for two challenge - First for the Ways to Use it - We were to use red.  The other challenge was the color throw down challenge - to use pink pirouette, melon mambo, red, and gray.

Mojo331, Enjoy the Little Things

This is for this week's Mojo Monday - #331.  I used SU dp and a sentiment from Verve.  I did a little paper piercing and popped up a couple of panels.

F4A206, SUO, Flowers Everyone

I made this card for the Free For All Challenge on SCS today.  We were to use the word love.  I used all SU supplies except for the sentiment (I just realized that.)  The colors are cantaloupe, slate, and dark gray.  I used the two step flower set Stippled Blossoms.  The ribbon is gray, and the little button is a current cantaloupe piece.  The embossing was a striped one from SU.
