Finally Daffodils (Flourish Stamps)...

Well, so far this is the closest I've come to daffodils.  It's still way too cold here.  At least I got to stamp and color some though.  I watercolored these with daffodil ink from SU.  I used a base of pear pizzazz from SU as well.  The name of the dp escapes me right now, but I do know that it's Basic Grey.  I hope that we will all be able to see the real thing soon.  Still watching and waiting for spring.

Roses in Copics (new to copics)

I wasn't sure if I should post this on SCS or put it on my blog, but what the heck.  It kind of looks nice, although the copic coloring is not the best.  What can one expect?  They are fun to use though.  Hopefully it won't take too long to get better.  The thing I'm worried about though is the price of these things, and how many will I purchase.

Pink Pansies Colored with Copics...

This is my very first card done with copic markers.  I don't have many colors yet, and I haven't had a whole lot of practice yet.  I used part of a PSX stamp and colored my pansies with three shades of pink.  I used two olive colors for my leaves.  The colors of my markers nearly matched the pink pirouette, regal rose, and old olive from SU perfectly.  I really enjoyed coloring this, and hope I can find something else to color with the shades I have.  Thanks for looking and keep creating!!  :>)

Spring Medallion (CC315)

For today's color challenge we were to use SU colors so saffron, pear pizzazz, and regal rose.  I inked up my medallion image from SU with the rose marker, and saffron marker, and spotted with the pear ink pad.  I trimmed the image out in regal rose, and mounted it on the embossed saffron and pear.  All corners were rounded and a regal rose ribbon was used.  The whole thing was then mounted on white.  My sentiment is also SU and is punched with the oval punch.

Field of Poppies (IC276 - Kirklands)

Today - Saturday's challenge was an inspiration challenge.  I really tend to love those - trying to capture the feeling and look of something on a given website.  Today we were directed to the Kirkland website.  The piece that I used for inspiration was

Spring Pansies... (F4A56)

This card was done for Friday's Free For All Challenge to make something to do with spring.  I used an old PSX stamp, and looked at a card my husband had bought me for my birthday.  Usually I think pansies look more bold than this, but I think the colors turned out nicely for a spring card.  I watercolored this.

SC324, FLLC, CAS, Black and White Hummer...

It feels like a long time since I've made a card and especially posted on my blog.  My creative side needs to get back in the swing of things.  There was a simple sketch challenge, and I decided to use my Humming Along set from Flourishes.  I have had this passion with hummingbirds.  I wanted to keep it a clean and simple card, because I didn't want to be fiddling with it for too long.  I decided to make a black and white card.  I believe the sentiment is a good one too. Thanks for looking and have a nice day.
