QFTD113, CAS, For a Friend...

This was a card cased from Mary R.  She is the current queen for the day or week.  I cased her layout like this, and used different papers, a different sentiment, and a piece of ribbon rather than a butterfly.

Tangerine Espresso

This is a card I just created for fun.  I had stamped the image once on vanilla in early espresso.  I then decided to color the poppies in an orange like tangerine color.  From there, I just started playing around, and my card evolved.

SC385, Feel the Joy...

This was a fun sketch challenge that Taylor gave us today.  I used all dp to create this, with a few pieces of regular card stock.

WT374, Think Happy Thoughts...

Well, here's a bright one for ya!!  Today's challenge was to use a bird.  It was a gorgeous day.  The sky was a perfect ballet blue color.  I wanted my card to reflect the bright sunshine and so I went with these two colors.  It was a fun card to make.

SC384, FTTC168, Vintage Hydrangeas

Well, I decided to combine a couple challenges today.  I don't do that a whole lot.  I used the sketch challenge for the day, and added the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge.  We were to use pink for that.

TLC376, Hope Happens...

Today's challenge was to paper piece.  I used designer paper to do both my leaves and my flowers.  I stamped the butterfly in old olive onto bashful blue cardstock and then used a white gel pen to highlight the butterfly.  I popped some of the things up on dimensionals.

QFTD, FLLC, Betty - (gbedwright)

I cased one of Betty's cards;  she was picked as the Queen for the Week or Day.  I have admired Betty for a long time.  She is an excellent stamper and a very kind person.  She asked me to help out as a designer for the color challenge on Tuesdays, quite some time ago.  I really enjoyed it, as the color challenge is my favorite.  I used a Flourishes image - the magnolia.  I also used the Cornish Heritage Farms toile stamp, but it is difficult to see because of my embossing.

SC383, Hydrangea Collage...

I didn't think I wanted to do today's sketch challenge, because it looked to have a few more layers to it than I would have liked.  I often make my own sketches with several layers.  Anyway, I did decide to make a card with my friend Pam.  I used an image that I had already stamped and it was lying around on my desk.  I came out to enjoy it a lot.  I love blue and green.

CC373, FFTC167, Flourishes Clematis...

This card was made for the color challenge on SCS.  We were to use bashful blue, wild wasabi, and pumpkin.  I added the neutral of chocolate chip, very vanilla, and a piece of designer paper.  I also combined another challenge, Timeless Tuesday from Flourishes.  I used the Clematis image, and water colored it.  The challenge there was to use a butterfly.  I haven't made any cards for the last week, so this was really fun.
