IC282, Spring Friend...

Today's card was made from the Inspiration 282 - Website, Wild Wings.  This is the picture I used, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964706?&cat=12528.  I watercolored it and did some sponging.  I used a few sets from SU:  Spring Song and Morning Soft.  It was fun, but took me a little longer than I would have liked.

WT318, CAS, SUO To thine ownself be kind...

This was a ways to challenge and we were supposed to have a person in our card.  I think I only own this one set from SU.  I colored it in pencil.  I made my clouds by using a scalloped circle and sponging around it with baja breeze and blushing bride.  It's also a clean and simple card.

CC318 - Saffron Daffodils...

This was a fun color challenge using saffron, pear pizzazz, and pretty in pink.  These are colors from SU.  I used their dp also, brad, and ribbon.  The other cardstock I used is Hazel Nut Tan from Mark's Finest Papers - I love that color.  The image is another beauty from Flourishes.

F4A59, Embedded Embossing with Elements of Style...

This was a cool challenge to do embedded embossing.  I stamped my image on the vanilla paper and then put the two colors of blue frames underneath and then shoved them in my wallpaper embossing folder from SU.  There are ways of doing this technique that will give a cooler looking effect, but that is what I chose to do at the time.  I added a little flower from SU.

QFTD - Lois

I cased a card of Lois' (Clownmom) on SCS.  I enjoyed using the fun Basic Grey dp, as well as using the crystal effects on my clock.  It's always a pain to wait for it to dry, but the CE has some pretty neat effects.

SC327, Olive Butterflies...

This was a sketch challenge for this Wednesday.  I decided to use the Nature Walk SU set, and the Botanical Gazette papers that go with it.  It really went together very well for me.  I really love the set.
