FS262, 101Airborne - Kathy - Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co., North Woods

This image is from North American Woods, a Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I cased one of Kathy's cards to honor her as our featured stamper today.  I kept one of the same colors, soft suede, and then added cherry cobbler and baja breeze.  The baja is to symbolize a river.  I used the two embossing folders to aid me, and then did a bit of paper piercing.  It's nice to now have a guy card on hand.

Challenge #94, MFP, a HC - Make a different shaped card...

The 94th Challenge at Speedy the Fox this week is to make a card with a different shape.  I used the Love Remains set and made my shape the big single rose.  I colored it with prisma colored pencils, and then added a little bling.  The card opens at the fold and can hold a message inside.

WT361 - Love Remains, MFP, a HC

I watercolored the roses from Love Remains which is from MFP, a Heinrich Co.  Our Valentine's Day cards from today were to be without red and pink.

MFP, A Heinrich Co. - Challenge #93 - Spray Technique

I love this image.  It's one of my favorites from MFP, a HC.  This card is for challenge #93 - to use some sort of spray on your card.  I colored and sponged on my image, and then dipped a toothbrush in bleach and sprayed it on my image panel.  My results were on the subtle side, but I like how it turned out.  I embossed my sentiment on a piece of vanilla cardstock, tore it, and sponged it.  The small piece of lace has a gold thread running through it and is really beautiful - you can't see it too well in the photo.
