We were given a beautiful Pinterest scene and asked to make a clean and simple card out of it. I don't know how clean or simple mine turned out, but I was definitely inspired by it. I really loved the green pillar and the red trimmed window. I wanted to make that more of a focal point, but then my pumpkin took over. It was fun!! My name is Kim, otherwise known as Luv Flowers on SCS. I have a love of flowers and I like to stamp them, color them, grow them, and take photos of them. One thing I do not do is smell them, I let my boy Alfie do that. I'm allergic.

CQC208, Red and Black Leaves...
I really liked the colour challenge over at the colour queen site this week. We were to use black and white and chose the third color. I think it's fun to have a bit of freedom. While taking a walk this morning I saw some red leaves that had black on them. I thought of the challenge and was there with an idea. My leaves do not look like the one I saw. I tried to capture that look, but it got messy looking. Anyway, thanks for looking and enjoy the fall. We are now having some awesome days. :>)

FS346, Casing Indycurt, Fall Colors
This card is for the featured stamper who is Curt from Indiana. He used versamark and gold embossing powder and I thought I would give it a try. I don't often emboss and especially with the gold powder. I really like dimension, so I had to at least pop up the one leaf. Thanks for looking!! Enjoy the fall colors!!

CTD260, Fall Mums...
This card was made for the 260th Color Throw Down!! Boy do I love color, but this one was tough for me. The colors are baked brown sugar, pistachio pudding, tangerine tango, and orchid opulence. I'm not sure if the white was part of the colors this week, or not. White to me does not belong with these colors. I tried doing some heat embossing and then sponging with the brown sugar, but that didn't look so hot. There are Queen Anne's Lace on the pistachio piece. The tangerine was dry embossed and then the tangerine as well as orchid were stamped on the white. I used a sentiment and tied a piece of cord to it. At any rate, it's off of my plate. :>) Thanks for looking!! I would love to see what you can come up with. :>)

CC444 - Fall Gratefulness...
Nancy Littrell is our hostess for the color challenge on SCS. She chose a bunch of fall colors - very vanilla, tangerine tango, crushed curry, cajun craze, and chocolate chip. WOW!! As usual I found these colors fitting for leaves. The desert option was to fussy cut. I did plenty of that and enjoyed it. This is the first card I have made in a week. I had the worst flu (not that there is any good variety.) I feel thankful to be well enough to craft again. It does lift one's spirits. Thanks for looking and enjoy the colors of fall.

CTD258, Sunflower of another kind...
This card is for the Color Throw Down Challenge. I started in a much different direction and then ended up using my sunflower stamp that was hiding under some papers. The colors are soft sage, kiwi kiss, old olive, chocolate chip, and white. I embossed my dp. I used markers directly on my stamp. Thanks for looking and have a great day!! :>)
cQc205, Falling Down...
What fun making this card!! It is for the Colour Queen Challenge #205. The colors are Island Indigo, Basic Gray, Regal Rose, Raspberry Ripple, and White. I used washi tape for my gray and indigo stripes. I love that stuff!! So fun and easy to use. The maple leaf is one of Tim Holtz's. I stamped it in regal rose and then touched it up with the raspberry ripple. Fun!! Thanks for looking!! :>)
