This week's colors were picked by Peggy. We have some new colors to play with. We had coastal cabana, crushed curry, and smoky slate. Our dessert option was to emboss in any way we chose. I did emboss my black panel, but it is difficult to see. I watercolored my flowers in the colors. I used the Itty Bitty bg stamp for a little bg color.

Today Cathy gave us a challenge to use vellum on our cards. I embossed mine. I used pretty in pink and regal rose which are now retired. I used a piece of vintage dp from SU. I used a new button and a piece of twine. I also added a ribbon with my sentiment. The image is a 2 step stamp called Stippled Blossoms from Stamp'n Up. Thanks for looking!!

Karen is our hostess for this challenge this week. She chose gum ball green, midnight muse, and rich razzleberry. The dessert option is an oval. I thought these colors would be challenging. For some reason I did not have difficulty with it. I grabbed my colors, one of the only ovals I have, and the Fabulous Floret set. I was thankful to have made a quick card that I liked.
Thanks for looking. I hope you can participate in some of the color challenges; they're a blast!! :>)

What a beautiful new hostess set from Stamp'n Up. I made this card for the color throwdown challenge. The colors are pear pizzazz, old olive, blushing bride, rich razzleberry, and white. I love the color combination. I had fun water coloring the image. I then cut it out and popped it up on a doily. A pretty easy card really. Thanks for looking!! :>)

The colors that Vicki picked today were pear pizzazz, old olive, and daffodil delight. I thought these colors were awesome!! I used a Flourish image (Orchids) and watercolored my image. I embossed my olive piece with a recently new folder from SU. It was a little tricky, but I managed to fit it all on this 5.25 square card. Thanks for looking!! If you'd like to be challenged working with colors tune in to SCS on Tuesdays. :>)

This week Becky is our hostess for the color challenge. She chose soft colors: soft sky, pink pirouette, and sahara sand. I watercolored my inkadinkado image softly and then mounted with an embossed panel and a panel of sahara sand. I also used a piece of soft sky ribbon. Pretty simple - almost CAS. Thanks for looking!! Have a great day!! :>)
