This card was done for the 319th color throw down. I'm getting it in at the last minute. This was the first time I used my hollyhock image from Penny Black. I watercolored it with pinks and pear from SU. I used the Gorgeous Grunge from SU as my bg. And then I used my punch from SU for my corners. That used to be something I used a lot when I first got it. Thanks for looking!! Have a great Thanksgiving with hopefully family and or friends. :>)
My name is Kim, otherwise known as Luv Flowers on SCS. I have a love of flowers and I like to stamp them, color them, grow them, and take photos of them. One thing I do not do is smell them, I let my boy Alfie do that. I'm allergic.

CTD318, Happy Thanksgiving (not for the turkey)
The color challenge over at the color throw down this week is to use a light blue, dark blue, and an orange. Since it is getting close to Thanksgiving here in the states, I thought I would use my turkey image. I don't know if is is appropriate to say Happy Thanksgiving on a card with a turkey on it. Oh well. I heat embossed my image once in brilliant blue and once in orange. I cut the pumpkin out and paper piece it in. For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving I hope you have a beautiful day. I like this holiday because it is easy to find things to be thankful for. I also like that there is not the pressure for gifts.

Masculine Colors - Mark's Finest Papers Color Challenge #42...
Yippee!! I found another color challenge. This was on Mark's Finest Papers blog. The colors for this week are a blue, rust, and green. I used night of navy, cajun craze, and meadow moss - all from SU. I used a stencil for my background panel and sponged the colors around it. I enjoyed this challenge and like these colors together.
