CTD420 - Yellow Lillies...

I was so happy to be picked as the guest designer for the Color Throw Down this week.  The colors are gray, light blue, sage green, and yellow.  I watercolored my lily image on watercolor paper.  I used a piece of dp and mounted it on light blue and gray.  Pretty simple.  Thanks for looking!!

CTD419 - Thanksgiving Leaves...

The color throw down colors this week are red, orange, and green.  I used only SU items for this card.  I used the Vintage Leaves set with the die cuts that match it.  I punched a sentiment from tiny sayings and used a tiny clothespin to attach it.  Really quite easy.

Colour Queen Challenge 367 - "Every leaf is gold..."

This was created for the colour queen challenge 367.  I used chunky gold embossing powder for my gold.  The rest was watercolored on white Tim Holtz watercolor paper.

CTD418, Friend to friend...

I'm so glad we haven't said goodbye to fall yet.  We are having some beautiful weather here.  My leaves are a combination of the colors for the week.  I used ink a gold in copper on one of them.  The other had both teal and orange swiped on them.  The other color appears green.  I have my dry embossing in there with a simple sentiment.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!! :>)

Color Throw Down #417 - Free Flying...

What a quick and easy card to make with this very cool image from Stampendous.  I simply inked the image with the three colors from this week's CTD challenge.

cQc365, Halloween Pumpkins...

I enjoyed playing in this challenge.  I masked my pumpkins and then watercolored the ones in front with tangerine and curry.  My pumpkins in back were shaded with black pencil.  Lucky me, I found some concord grape dp and card stock in my stash.  It came in handy just in time.  Thanks for looking and have a fun and safe Halloween.  :>)

Color Throw Down #416 - Open Heart

I created my bg with the SU stamp, sanded in kraft.  I then used French Script in blushing bride - which was close to peach.  My foliage was done in island indigo - the set was SU Open Heart.  I added a bit of cherry cobbler on my bird's head and with the sentiment.  Overall the colors weren't as difficult as I thought they might be to use.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

Color Throw Down 414 - Vintage Acorns...

I made this card for the 414th color throw down challenge.  I absolutely love fall, and it was fun doing these fall images in unrealistic colors.  Our colors for this week are gray, aqua, and lime green.  I used SU's Bermuda Bay, Kiwi Kiss, and Slate.  I used the SU set Acorny Thank You along with the matching punch, and Vintage Leaves die cuts.  I also dry embossed the bg with a leaf folder.  Very fun!!  Thanks for looking!!

This card is for the color throw down.  The colors were navy, crumb cake, orange, and white.  I used an embossing folder for the crumb cake bg.

Mojo Monday 465, Blessings...

I created this clean fall card for the mojo monday challenge for the week.  My base card stock was some SU caribbean.  I used some plaid dp from Lawn Fawn.  My other panels were done with poppy and summer sun.  I used SU die cuts to create the oak leaf and acorn with chocolate chip card stock.  I think it's a fun little card.  Thanks for looking!!

Oak Leaves and Acorns...

Fall is my favorite season and I was so glad when I found time to create this card. The image is from Penny Black.  I used Derwent Inktense pencils to color the image.  I layered my card stocks and dp, and popped up my die cut oval and early espresso piece with dimensionals.  I added a little raffia and a button for a bit of embellishing.  Thanks for taking a look!!  :>)

I used the SU set Vintage Leaves for this color challenge.  It also has die cuts that go with it.  I added some paper piercing around the white panel and put my sentiment on there.  The colors I used were daffodil delight, lucky limeaid, and island indigo.

cQc356 - Pretty Leaves

This card was done for the 356th Colour Queen Challenge.  The colors are melon mambo, blackberry bliss, old olive, and soft sky.  I really like these colors.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

CTD405 - Sympathy...

This card was made for the 405th CTD challenge.  The colors are green, yellow, and aqua.  I used a Penny Black stamp.  I inked it up and sprayed it with water.  The bg is done with a new SU set - Touches of Texture.

This card is for the 354th colour Queen challenge.  The colors are gray, black, cool caribbean and white.  I guess I have already started to get the whole leaf thing in my mind.  I made a leaf card yesterday.  Fall in on its way.

CTD403

The colors this week for the color throw down challenge are pink, peach, and yellow.  I added a neutral of soft suede to antique my look.  I first used a hydrangea stamp from Unity and then added two more hydrangeas from the SU set Just Because.  I colored one of my flowers and added some matching lace.   A saffron ribbon was used for a slight embellishment.  Thanks for looking!!  :>)

This card was made for the cQc348.  I used the SU set Peaceful Petals.  I fussy cut the leaves and the flowers out to give it the look of die cuts.

This card was made for the mojo monday challenge for this week.  I used some dp, olive and tangerine card stock.  I paper pierced.  I used a button and some thread for embellishment.  I stamped an iris image from Penny Black with tangerine and olive ink.

This card is for the weekly sketch challenge challenge as well as the color throw down challenge.  The colors are golden yellow and a navy blue.  I stamped off the image in the background and then stamped it fully in the circle punch.  The image is from the Penny Black.
