This card was made for two challenges: the Color Queen Challenge 168 and the Retro Sketch 42. The colors in the color challenge were cherry cobbler, ruby red, bashful blue, crumb cake and white. The large crumb cake snowflake is a DRSDesign image. I embossed on the bashful blue with a snowflake folder. There are little snowflakes in crumb cake, and the border was done in the two reds. I added a ruby red brad to tie in more of the red. Thanks for looking! :>) P.S. There was glitter added that is difficult to see.
My name is Kim, otherwise known as Luv Flowers on SCS. I have a love of flowers and I like to stamp them, color them, grow them, and take photos of them. One thing I do not do is smell them, I let my boy Alfie do that. I'm allergic.

CC406, Vanilla Elements...
Today Karen Barber gave us our colorless color challenge. We were to use white or vanilla. I used different shades of vanilla. I embossed on two of the panels with the fan folder from SU. I used an antique brad from SU as well, and the Elements of Style stamp set. I felt it was a little bit more challenging working without real colors. It was also fun though.

CTD221, SC414, Joy at Christmas...
I combined two challenges for this card. The first one is the 221 st Color Throw Down Challenge. Barb gave us Christmas colors: crumb cake, riding hood red, gum ball green, and black. The sketch was a challenge on SCS that Korin gave us this last Wednesday. I added a holly branch as a type of embellishment in my upper right hand corner. It was fun doing these two challenges together. Thanks for looking!!

CTD220 - Frosty Poinsettia...
The colors this week are turquoise, vanilla, limeaide, and cherry cobbler. I used a PSX stamp - poinsettia. I cut it out and colored it with the markers of color. I embossed some vanilla with the snowflake folder and mounted my poinsettia with dimensionals. I then added the colors in my sketch, and added a button and ribbon for a small bit of embellishing. There is glitter on the snowflakes as well as the poinsettia, it's just not easy to see. Thanks for looking. Have some fun, and take a try at these colors.

CTD219, F4A144, Christmas Holly...
This card was made for two challenges. The first one I had in mind was the color throw down challenge. The colors are Burmuda Bay (I used teal), soft sky, white, gray, and limeaid. My card looks a bit better in real life. I used glitter on the leaves, and that was for the free for all challenge. Thanks for looking. I hope you are enjoying your Friday after Thanksgiving. :>)

Color Throw Down 218 - Wreath
This card is for the CTD218. The colors are soft suede, early espresso, cool carribean, and tempting turquoise. I used vanilla, watercolor paper, and a piece of SU dp. I embossed the dp and soft suede piece. I water colored the wreath and then added some stickles which don't show up. I used dimensionals and some pearls and some seam binding. I also paper pierced.

SC410, CTD217, Navy Bird...
Today's card was made for 2 challenges. The first one was a sketch challenge that Taylor gave us on SCS. The second challenge was for the Color Throw Down challenge. The colors for that are black and white, lime aide, and night of navy. I used two SU sets - one was tweet and the other was apple blossom. I embossed my bg with the leaf folder. It was a fun card to create.

cQc162, Daffodils...
This is for the cQc162 Color Challenge. The colors for this challenge are kraft, soft suede, cherry cobbler, daffodil delight, and white. On the bg white piece I stamped both crumb cake and soft suede. I then ran it through my cuttlebug and tore the top. On my image I used the same colors to color the stems of my daffodil, along with the bulb.

CTD214, Sunflowers...
This card is for the Color Throw Down Challenge - #214. The colors are brilliant blue, summer sun, old olive, and white. I stamped the image in all three of the colors and then fussy cut the leaves out in the olive. I glued them down on the yellow image leaves. I then colored the rest with a brilliant blue marker. It kind of was a lot of work and I'm not sure if the results were worth it. Always an experiment somewhere. Thanks for looking!! :>)

CTD211 - Grateful...
This card is for the color throw down challenge #211. The colors are starfruit, pumpkin pie, crumbcake, and sierra sand. When I first saw these colors, I didn't think it was going to be easy to use them. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't that difficult for me. Thanks Wanda and girls at the color throw down challenge.

CTD210, Gratitude / Thanksgiving...
This is the second card I have made for the 210th color throw down challenge. The colors are vanilla, crumb cake, chocolate chip, celery, and burmuda bay. I used the taken with teal marker instead of the burmuda bay. I bought this set recently, and this was the first time I used it - not the most typical colors you would think. Anyways, thank you for looking!!

I found another color challenge, and this is my first entry to their challenge. The challenge is color Queen Challenge 155. The colors were razzleberry, olive, saffron, soft plum, and white. I used the SU set Fresh Vintage. I also used French Script. It was a fun challenge with wonderful colors.

CTD209, Nature's Leaves...
This card is for the 209th Color Throw Down Challenge. The colors are chocolate chip, cherry cobbler, summer sun, real rust, and old olive. I love fall and I love these warm earth colors. I stamped a maple leaf and colored them with prisma colored pencils. I then fussy cut them out. I dry embossed a piece of vanilla, and then put it together with my other cardstock using dimensionals as I went. This was a fun challenge. Thanks for looking!! :>)

This week's color throw down colors are white, pink piroutte, melon mambo, and garden green. I love this stamp. It pretty much does the work for you. Lovely colors for this week as well.

CTD207, Large Flowers...
This is the second card I have made for the color throw down challenge. I don't know that I love either one of them. I think I might be missing a tad bit of my mojo. I had a knee arthroscopy last Friday, and I don't feel 100% myself yet. Also, I will admit that I have difficulties with lighter/pastel type colors. Anyway, I did have fun cutting out my larger flower a few times today. That always seems calming. Thanks for looking and any comments. :>)

Color Throw Down Challenge #207
This card is for this week's throw down challenge. The colors are melon mambo, barely banana, green galore, and peach parfait. I had my mind on doing a more simple card this week. I'm not sure I like how it turned out, so think I would like to give it another shot.

CTD206, FLLC, Sweet Peas...
This card was made for the Color Throw Down Challenge - #206. You can find it here.
The colors this week are pink, coral, celery, and turquoise. I watercolored Flourishes Sweet peas with pink, coral, and celery. I sponged the turquoise in the corner and also used a corner punch t accentuate that color. The middle panel is embossed and it was stamped with the sweet pea image in celery. I used one of the new ribbon threader from SU to add my pink ribbon. It's been a while since I've water colored, and I enjoyed it. Thanks for looking!!

MFP, A Heinrich Co., Tutorial Challenge #9, Tent Topper
My friend Pam is a designer for Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co., and it was her turn to do a tutorial challenge. It was a tent topper. I have never made one, but she encouraged me to do so. I'm not the biggest fan of trying new stuff, but I'm usually glad that I did, after I'm done. Thanks for looking!! :>)
